May is the beginning of the tourist season in St. Vlas. At this time, the first tourists begin to arrive. The sea is still cool +17° C, but in the daytime it is already warm and sunny, the air warms up to +23°C . Connoisseurs of sunbathing and those simply wanting to enjoy the view of the sea appear on the beaches.
In June it is very comfortable in St. Vlas; the beach season opens . Vacationers come here, mostly families with school-age children. Air temperature fluctuates in the range +23°С – +28°С
With the beginning of July, the heat comes to Saint Vlas. The daytime air temperature warms up to +28° +30°C, and at night rarely drops below + 25°C. The sun gets hot and the beaches become empty in the middle of the day. Water temperature in July is +24° +25°С. Thanks to the dry air, the heat in Bulgaria is easily tolerated.
August is the peak season. The hottest weather in Saint Vlas begins in August. The hottest sun, the warmest sea and the most vacationers. In August it warms up to +25°С – +26°С , and the air temperature reaches +30°С .
In September, the velvet season begins in St. Vlas , which lasts about two weeks . Absolutely gorgeous period! The weather is warm, but not hot, the sea is warm +22° +23°C , the air temperature ranges from +23°C to +26°C .
There are noticeably fewer tourists: families with schoolchildren have already gone home.
During this period, you can still have a good time on the beach, you can see the sights of Bulgaria, or you can go to the mountains of St. Vlas without hiding from the scorching sun in the slightest shade.
At the beginning of October, the resort part of the city becomes empty. The day is still warm and sunny, but the evenings are already cool, the temperature drops to +17 °C . The time for beach holidays is over, the beaches of St. Vlas have closed the season, the sun loungers are standing aside. Sea water temperature at the beginning of October is +18°С – +20°С . However, there are brave souls who continue to swim.
